A J Clark Concrete Flooring Ltd was launched in 1996 and
is part of the A J Clark Group. The directors combine over
20 years of experience managing major projects.
To date, every A J Clark Group project has been completed
on time and within budget. This factor alone provides one of
the strongest foundations for our planned growth. In an
independent construction consumer survey, the A J Clark
group were reported to be demonstrating an exceptional
ability to manage every aspect of the job; co-ordinating
men, machines and materials in projects of £100,000 to
several million pounds.
Technological
Advances
Today's laser screed technology allows a skilled team to
complete 20m2 in a single pass.
That means a team of seven
can complete 2,000m2 in a working day. A J Clark was the
first Scottish registered Company to own and regularly
operate a laser screed in Scotland.
Laser screeding consistently outperforms hand screeding
for precision and speed of flooring and paving. Lower costs,
reduced manpower, increased mobility and greater accuracy
guarantee the skilled teams will be 'on' and 'off' site with
exceptional efficiency - allowing early access for following
trade and delivering improved customer satisfaction.
The A J Clark Group are regular delegates at "The World
of concrete" in the USA, and deliver the latest initiatives
and technology, such as Bekaert fibres, to benefit their UK
customers.

- Design and build of concrete floor slabs
- Suspended concrete floor slabs on metal decking
- Steel fibre jointless floor slabs installed by laser
screed
- Pile supported steel fibre floor slabs installed by
laser screed
A J Clark understand the client's desire to keep the
costs down whilst guaranteeing the highest quality and the
need to avoid delay to follow on trades. To achieve
this A J Clark have invested in the latest Laser Screed and
Automated Paving technology. In addition traditional
and flood pouring techniques are in accordance with Concrete
Society Technical Report No.34 and Technical Report No.66.
